Director | Occupational Therapist
I am extremely passionate about seeing children and their families develop to their full potential and reach their goals, no matter the barriers. I love being an OT and providing children and their families with opportunities to build functional skills, while having fun! I am super excited to be offering OT services to our local community in McLaren Vale.
I graduated from my Masters of OT at Flinders University after completing a Bachelor of Health Science - Principles of Occupational Therapy. While studying and working as an OT, I also completed my certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, Zumba Instructor training and Pilates mat and reformer qualifications.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my family and friends, hanging out with my two border collies and taking a pilates class.
Occupational Therapist | Team Leader
Rachelle is an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping people. She loves to work alongside her clients and their families to see the progress and improvements they can make. Rachelle loves to celebrate both the small and big wins with clients, and knows every child is unique in their own way – making every day different and exciting!
Rachelle graduated from her Masters of OT at Flinders University after completing a Bachelor of Health Science – Principles of Physiotherapy. During her final year of her Health Science degree, Rachelle decided that OT was for her as she wanted to support people with all aspects of their life and assist with their functional skills.
When Rachelle is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing netball, surf life saving and spending warm sunny days down the beach.
Occupational Therapist
Mia completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University and joined the OT Kidz team following her final clinical placement with us.
Mia decided OT was for her as she wanted to help people, and that’s exactly what OT’s do! We help people to be independent in their meaningful activities. She loves connecting with people to gain insight into their stories and how she can help them build skills in self-esteem, confidence, motor skills, problem solving and more. She especially loves that when working with children, we get to work on these functional skills through fun and play!
When Mia is not at work she loves op shopping, going for a walk outside to grab an iced chai, and spending time with her friends and family.
Occupational Therapist
Lou completed her Bachelor Degree of Science and Master Degree in Occupational Therapy at Flinders University. She has worked at the Repatriation General Hospital then Hawkes Bay District Health Service in New Zealand, mainly as part of acute medicine teams or rehabilitation. She then had three beautiful children and greatly enjoys bringing all of her skills and experience to OT Kidz working with children and families.
Lou greatly values being able to support clients on their journey to greater wellbeing and quality of life. Occupational therapy is dynamic and always interesting with new challenges every day.
Outside of work, Lou loves being with her family, spending time in the garden and going on adventures near and far.
Occupational Therapist
Conor completed his Masters of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University. Back in 2022 while Conor was a Masters student, we were lucky enough to host him for a clinical placement.
Conor enjoys helping people overcome their challenges and obstacles (no matter how big or small) to set them up for their life ahead, whilst having as much fun as possible.
When Conor is not at work, he enjoys reading, watching TV, going to the beach for fun and lifesaving, and being with my friends and family.
